Job description The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with the Product Team to lead the development of new features for The Collecting Group's platform, a disruptor in the curated collectibles market (cars and watches). The role involves shaping the platform's technical architecture, enhancing engineering capabilities, and delivering exceptional user experiences.

Responsibilities

Drive significant contributions to the team's success and product evolution.
Partner with Product and the wider business to align on objectives, strategies, and detailed requirements.
Lead complex projects from concept to completion, delivering high-quality solutions.
Shape the platform's architecture, processes, and platform guidelines.
Balance focused coding and problem-solving with team collaboration.
Share skills through code reviews, paired programming, and mentorship.
Build and test features while immersed in the world of iconic cars and watches.

Requirements

Strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript, with experience in React (Next.js is a plus).
Solid computer science fundamentals and familiarity with multitenancy and internationalization.
Ability to analyze complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
Ability to take ownership of tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
Experience spotting issues early through experience and attention to detail.
Seamless collaboration with the Product Team and wider business.
Passion for software engineering and continuous learning.
Mentoring experience is a plus.
