Job description TidalSense, a respiratory technology company, is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of their N-Tidal platform, a first-of-its-kind AI-driven diagnostic test for COPD. The company is transitioning from a startup to a scale-up and values a collaborative, mission-driven team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance the N-Tidal platform.
  • Develop software within a regulated (medical device) environment, ensuring rigorous documentation and testing.
  • Collaborate with the design team to analyze requirements and propose technical solutions.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, code reviews, and team meetings.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation.
  • Contribute to infrastructure improvements and system reliability.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Python server-side development (preferably with Django).
  • Expertise in database Object Relationship Mapping (ORM), preferably with Django ORM.
  • Experience with TypeScript and modern frontend web frameworks (Vue.js expertise preferred).
  • Experience developing with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Experience managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
  • Legally eligible to work in the UK.
