Job description Rayo, a part of UBDS Group, seeks a Back-End Developer to design, build, and maintain robust APIs and microservices for AWS-hosted platforms. The role demands delivering secure, scalable server-side solutions using Java and Spring Boot, with strong integration across AWS managed services. The ideal candidate will also contribute to DevOps practices, performance optimization, and team-wide code quality.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain back-end components using Java (11+) and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices within secure, cloud-native architectures.
Integrate with AWS managed services (SQS, SNS, RDS, Lambda, ECS, EventBridge).
Apply test-driven development practices.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with DevOps teams and demonstrate awareness of infrastructure-as-code.
Lead performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
Support engineering best practices across Agile teams.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Java (11+) and Spring Boot.
Experience designing and building scalable APIs and microservices.
Hands-on experience with AWS services (SQS, SNS, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, EventBridge).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps collaboration.
Understanding of test-driven development and debugging.
Comfortable working within Agile teams.
