Job description HICX is a leading provider of SaaS solutions for digital supplier management, helping Global 5000 companies manage their supplier data. They are looking for a skilled Java Developer to contribute to their platform's development and maintenance. This is a fully remote role within the UK.

Responsibilities

Application design and software development
Software maintenance
Working with REST APIs and Microservices
Automated testing (Unit, Integration & Acceptance)
Working with Cloud provider technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure)
Contributing to engineering best practices
Collaboration with a diverse, international team

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of professional Java programming experience
BSc in Computer Science or similar field
English language fluency and strong communication skills
Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
Good knowledge of SQL and database systems (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Good knowledge of web standards (HTML, JavaScript, etc.)
Experience with REST APIs and Microservices
Knowledge of Cloud provider technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure etc)
Practical experience working with automated test practices (Unit, Integration & Acceptance)
Good knowledge and practical experience in automated test practices (Unit, Integration & Acceptance)
Attention to detail and creativity in process improvement
