Job description Bitfinex is seeking a Remote Mobile Engineer to contribute to the development of their mobile applications, focusing on innovation, scalability, data visualization, and design.

Responsibilities

Develop new features for the Bitfinex mobile applications using agile methodologies.
Ensure the mobile application remains smooth, responsive, and real-time as the platform scales.
Build beautiful and reactive applications and trading tools.
Optimize existing mobile applications.
Work with WebSockets and RESTful APIs.

Requirements

Proficiency in JavaScript and ES6+.
Strong experience with React, React-Native (mainly Expo), Redux, and related principles.
Familiarity with modern front-end pipelines and tools.
Comfortable with high-availability concepts.
Knowledge of WebSockets and RESTful APIs.
Knowledge in native languages (Swift/Kotlin) and familiarity with native build tools (Xcode/Android Studio) is advantageous.
