Job description Two Circles, a global sports agency, is expanding its technical team in London and seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer. The role focuses on technical leadership, supporting technology consulting projects, and identifying solutions for clients. The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital solutions and an interest in sports technology.

Responsibilities

Write clean, reusable code and help define coding standards.
Advocate for developer experience and continuous improvement.
Lead and influence technical design and development of digital projects.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define technical scope.
Set up software development frameworks for release management and automation.
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to engineers.
Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies in sports.
Presence in London office 2 days/week, occasional travel to other locations.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of software engineering experience.
High proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
Experience with CI/CD environments (e.g., CircleCI, GitHub Actions).
Understanding of DevOps and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Experience with agile development, test automation (unit, integration, E2E).
Experience monitoring application performance using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Sentry.
Strong desire for performant applications.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience building services for high-traffic systems is desirable.
