Responsibilities

Develop software to meet user needs.
Follow and improve best-practice guidelines.
Write clean, secure, and well-tested code.
Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
Collaborate with Agile team members to enhance software and outcomes.

Requirements

Strong experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Experience with unit and end-to-end testing (e.g., Jest/NightwatchJS).
Familiarity with AA Accessibility Standards.
Experience with RESTful APIs and cross-browser compatibility.
Awareness of performance optimization techniques.

Nice to have skills

Experience working with UK Government or public sector.
AWS experience.
Building component libraries.
Understanding of security principles and UX.
