Job description Sidetrade is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join their dynamic R&D team and contribute to the development of innovative AI-powered Order-to-Cash solutions. The role focuses on high-availability software, performance enhancement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver new features and product enhancements for the P6 Platform.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the UK and France.
Optimize processes and implement cutting-edge solutions.
Contribute to secure design principles and information security standards.
Drive innovation within the R&D team.
Participate in the roadmap to optimize software performance.

Requirements

Experience with Java or other JVM languages (Groovy, Scala, Kotlin).
Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
Experience with profiling tools and load testing.
Expertise in API Engineering.
Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
DevOps experience (CI/CD, Docker, Git).

Bonus Points

Understanding of Software Engineering Principles (SOLID, design patterns, TDD, BDD, DDD).
Frontend Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, React).
Experience with unit and integration testing (JUnit, Spock, Jest).
Experience with integration frameworks (Apache Camel).
Agile environment experience (SCRUM, Kanban).
