Job description As a Full-Stack Engineer at GBG Loqate, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience. You'll be part of a dynamic team focused on digital marketing and platform improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain new API endpoints and front-end features.
- Lead website updates using Umbraco CMS.
- Architect and implement custom Umbraco components.
- Participate in the full development lifecycle from definition to deployment.
- Write, review, and maintain code.
- Translate designs into high-quality code.
- Define and improve the web architecture.
- Optimize site performance, scalability, and SEO.
- Perform code reviews.
- Manage the re-platforming of web applications.
- Evolve system architecture for improved efficiency.
- Stay updated on Umbraco advancements.
- Manage server upgrades in conjunction with the Cloud Infrastructure team.
- Oversee the integration of third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with other teams.
Requirements
- Experience as a Full-Stack Developer with .NET (C#) and ASP.NET MVC/Web API.
- Strong experience developing with Umbraco CMS.
- Fluency in full-stack development.
- Understanding of SEO and best practices.
- Knowledge of secure coding and security best practices.
- Cloud-based systems experience (Azure, AWS) is desirable.
- Experience with GitHub, DevOps/pipelines, Docker, SQL, React, Angular, Lit, Web Components, SASS/LESS, NPM, Gulp.js is beneficial.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and make architectural decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
