Job description Rebellion is looking for a JavaScript Developer to build and maintain web applications and APIs for their game engine team. This role involves the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance. It's primarily a backend role, but front-end experience is also needed.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy web applications for the in-house game engine team.
Maintain and improve existing tools.
Develop integrations with third-party APIs.
Support application deployments.
Communicate effectively with other teams.

Requirements

Experience with NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Vue and React.
Experience with databases (MySQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with AWS or equivalent cloud environments.
Experience with software development tools and version control (Git/Perforce desirable).
Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Comfortable modifying/maintaining applications written in other languages (e.g., PHP) is a plus.
Experience with serverless functions (AWS Lambda/Azure Functions) is a bonus.
