Mid-Level Software Engineer (.NET / React)

Job description Compass is a leading global provider of School Management Information Systems (MIS) trusted by over 4,500 schools. They are seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to contribute to the development and improvement of their software platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable software.
• Champion software craftsmanship, clean code, and pair programming.
• Cultivate strong relationships with the team and collaborate with Product Owners and Designers.
• Help drive architectural strategy.
• Support and enhance existing features.
• Improve site scalability, infrastructure, and testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., C#, C++).
• 3+ years of experience with modern frontend JavaScript, libraries, and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, CSS, React, Vue, TypeScript).
• Experience designing and implementing database solutions with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with modern product and engineering principles and practices (agile methodologies).
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
