Job description IONATE, a deep technology startup, is hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to develop real-time software for smart grid applications. The role involves developing firmware for grid-connected inverters, validating hardware designs, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

Develop embedded software for grid-connected inverters.
Implement, test, debug, and troubleshoot DSP/microcontroller processor firmware and algorithms.
Perform hands-on embedded system hardware design validation and debugging.
Design control firmware adhering to safety and international standards.
Participate in technical development and testing across a multidisciplinary team.
Create and maintain documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in electronics/software engineering or equivalent.
Extensive experience in C/C++ for microcontroller-based embedded platforms.
Proven experience developing firmware from concept to commercial products.
Experience with communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, QSPI, Ethernet, USB).
Proficiency with tools like Altium, MATLAB, Confluence, and JIRA.
Strong communication skills.
