Senior Full Stack Engineer (Data Visualisation)

Job description BMLL is looking for a Software Engineer to enhance and expand its Vantage product, a leading platform for visualizing financial time-series data. The role focuses on building high-performance, interactive data visualization dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications for large datasets and data visualization.
• Collaborate with product and data science teams to translate user needs into technical requirements.
• Integrate and optimize REST APIs for data retrieval.
• Develop reusable components.
• Write and maintain testable code.
• Perform data wrangling and contribute to data analysis.
• Troubleshoot and enhance existing applications.

Requirements

• Proficient in React and TypeScript.
• Experience with data visualization libraries (Highcharts, D3.js).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Playwright).
• Strong understanding of REST APIs.
• Experience in data wrangling/analysis (SQL, Python, Jupyter Notebook).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
