Job description Seeking a Principal/Senior UI Software Engineer to contribute to high-performance trading systems within a leading financial services company in London.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain user interfaces using HTML5, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Utilize UI libraries such as Material UI or Ant Design.
Work with CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESS.
Implement and utilize testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
Perform performance profiling and optimization.
Utilize build tools such as Webpack.
Implement code quality and governance tools (e.g., Sonarqube).
Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git/GitLab).

Requirements

Proven experience as a senior/principal engineer in high-performance trading systems or similar domains.
Strong proficiency in HTML5, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
Experience with UI libraries (Material UI or Ant Design).
Experience with CSS pre-processors (SASS/LESS).
Experience with testing frameworks (Jest).
Familiarity with performance profiling and optimization.
Experience with build tools (Webpack).
Familiarity with code quality and governance tools (Sonarqube).
Experience with version control systems (Git/GitLab).
