Job description Paxton is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team in Brighton. The role involves building and maintaining software for their access control products, focusing on scalability, quality, and performance. Responsibilities

Design solutions for new features and bug fixes.
Provide leadership for project requirements, planning, and reporting.
Collaborate with other engineering teams.
Ensure the technical integrity of user interfaces, APIs, mobile apps, and cloud services.
Identify and mitigate potential risks during the development cycle.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions.
Review and provide feedback on requirements, specifications, and designs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
Solid experience in back-end development, particularly C# .NET.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, Angular, or React) is advantageous.
Strong experience with .NET Web API.
Solid experience working with SQL Server.
Knowledge or experience with Azure cloud services is advantageous.
Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.
