Job description Cadillac Formula 1™ is seeking a Head of Build to manage and lead the Build and Sub Assembly teams at the new Silverstone Facility, ensuring timely and high-quality assemblies for the Race Team. The role focuses on building a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Manage the Build Assembly Team to meet high standards and tight deadlines.
Manage the Sub Assembly Team (brakes, steering, hydraulics, etc.).
Manage inventory and tracking of assemblies.
Manage service schedules and shipment of sub-assemblies.
Oversee assembly deliveries to/from technical partners.
Collaborate with the Design Office to establish build & service processes.
Implement processes to ensure ERP system accuracy.
Build relationships across departments and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and report departmental KPIs.
Motivate and engage teams while ensuring compliance.
Champion ERP system development.
Develop a thorough knowledge of the company’s ERP system.

Requirements

Extensive motorsport technical practical experience.
High technical understanding of mechanical assembly competence.
Ability to work on multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Thorough understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong leadership skills with team development experience.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
ERP experience is an advantage.
Flexible attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
