Job description Chauntry Ltd., a part of Holiday Extras, is seeking a Software Developer to join their team. The company is a leading omni-channel reservation solution provider for airports, car parks, and more, focused on enhancing customer pre-booking products.

Responsibilities

Develop new user-facing features for the Parkspace product.
Build and consume RESTful services and APIs.
Build reusable code and libraries.
Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, project managers, designers, testers).
Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Discover and implement new technologies.
Adhere to security standards and best practices.

Requirements

Professional software development experience in a commercial setting.
Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
Experience with ASP.NET web frameworks (MVC, Blazor, Razor).
Extensive experience with SQL (MySQL/MariaDB preferred).
Good understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks (jQuery).
Familiarity with IIS.
Demonstrated experience in developing RESTful applications.
Experience with cross-browser and cross-device friendly UI development.
Proficient with code versioning tools (Git/SVN).
Knowledge of Unit Testing (nUnit/xUnit) is an advantage.
Knowledge of cloud services (Azure) is an advantage.

Salary: £40,061 - £50,077 per year DOE + Benefits + Profit Share Bonus
