Responsibilities

Develop software to meet user needs.
Follow and improve best-practice guidelines.
Write clean, secure, and well-tested code.
Coach and mentor junior colleagues.
Collaborate with Agile team members to enhance software and outcomes.

Requirements

Strong experience with React, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
Experience with testing frameworks (Unit & End-to-End, e.g., Jest/NightwatchJS).
Understanding of AA Accessibility Standards.
Experience with RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with developing for major browsers (Chrome, Edge).
Strong awareness of performance optimization.

Nice to have skills

Experience working with the UK Government or public sector.
AWS experience.
Building component libraries.
Understanding of security principles.
Experience with scalability and reusability.
Appreciation for UX.
