Job description IOG is looking for a Front End Developer (WebGL) to develop creative and interactive web assets, particularly using WebGL, to showcase their blockchain technology. The role involves all stages of development, from ideation and prototyping to implementation and optimization.

Responsibilities

Validate specifications and provide development estimates.
Participate in the ideation of creative projects to market IOG and its products.
Produce prototypes to validate design concepts.
Establish and maintain best practices for code quality, scalability, and performance.
Optimize code for speed and scalability.
Ensure high-quality standards and accuracy.
Serve as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with QA to ensure builds meet standards.
Implement project deliverables according to deadlines.
Share best practices with the Web Development team.
Utilize work tracking software (Jira, Slack).

Requirements

Experience with visually refined WebGL experiences (with examples).
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Proficiency in React, Tailwind CSS, Javascript, and Typescript.
Expert-level knowledge of WebGL and Three.JS.
Strong understanding of performance testing in modern browsers.
Familiarity with NPM, Node JS, and Jamstack.
Experience with Git workflows.
Proficiency in cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage shifting priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of image/design editing tools (e.g., Figma).
Self-motivated and proactive.
