Job description MarTrust is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join their new Technology function. The role involves building and maintaining scalable, reliable systems for their payroll, supplier payment, and e-wallet systems, working within cross-functional engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be a strong team player capable of independent problem-solving.

Responsibilities

Design, architect, implement, deploy, and maintain services for payroll, supplier payments, and e-wallet systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, operations, compliance) to solve customer problems.
Develop expertise in payments and the maritime industries.
Advocate for and follow best coding practices, continuous delivery, and quality reviews.
Develop and track metrics to monitor system performance and reliability.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of professional experience in full stack development with independent ownership of complex problems.
Experience in financial services, fintech, or banking products (a plus).
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Strong product mindset with the ability to identify root causes and solutions for ambiguous problems.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, immutable infrastructure, containers, and serverless architectures.
Confidence to quickly learn Typescript, Svelte, and AWS Serverless.
