Job description We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer to contribute to the development and maintenance of our innovative EdTech platform. The role involves building new features, resolving issues, reviewing code, and supporting the team's technical growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP, Laravel, and modern front-end technologies, along with experience in cloud platforms and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high-quality code in PHP, Laravel, CSS, HTML, and JavaScript based on product and design specifications.
  • Select appropriate tools and frameworks, recommending architectural approaches to ensure scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with design and other teams to ensure high-quality visual elements and attention to detail.
  • Implement automated testing for new and existing developments.
  • Review code and support other engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
  • Work within a Scrum team, collaborating with product, design, and test teams.
  • Support agile processes for planning, estimation, and sprint targets.
  • Resolve bugs and issues reported by QA, support, and design.
  • Contribute to innovation within the product, processes, and team by staying updated on emerging technologies.
  • Expand and maintain integrations with third-party interfaces.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in development roles.
  • Proven track record of building high-performance products, preferably in e-commerce or SaaS.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Kubernetes).
  • Strong technical skills in software development and delivery practices.
  • Experience with PHP/Laravel, Vue.js, CSS (Sass/Scss/Tailwind), and JavaScript.
  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL/Aurora).
  • Experience with API integrations and third-party services (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ideally, a degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
