Responsibilities

Take ownership of project work and its impact on other areas.
Assist other developers with their projects.
Architect projects and complex subsystems.
Debug code and provide technical support.
Improve tooling, code, and communication.
Stay updated on development best practices.

Requirements

In-depth understanding of JavaScript and/or PHP.
Expert knowledge of WordPress components and technologies (including internals).
Experience with debugging tools and techniques.
Expert knowledge of HTML5 & CSS.
Experience with Git and version control.
Solid understanding of MySQL and database-driven applications.
Extensive experience with RESTful APIs.
Ability to set up local development environments.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.
Strong understanding of performance and security considerations.
Proven experience working on large enterprise WordPress development projects.
