Job description IOG, a blockchain research and development company, is looking for a Front End Developer (WebGL) to create engaging and interactive web assets. This role involves leading the development of WebGL experiences and data visualizations to showcase IOG's impact and technology. You will collaborate with creative and web development teams to bring innovative ideas to life.

Responsibilities

Validate specifications and provide development estimates.
Actively participate in ideation for creative projects.
Produce prototypes to validate design concepts.
Establish and maintain best practices for scalable and high-performance code.
Optimize code for speed and scalability.
Ensure high-quality code aligned with design vision.
Serve as a technical point of contact for cross-functional teams.
Collaborate with QA to ensure build compliance.
Implement project deliverables within deadlines.
Share best practices and assist with project delivery within the web development team.
Utilize work tracking software (Jira, Slack).

Requirements

Demonstrable experience with visually refined WebGL experiences.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
Proficiency in React and Tailwind CSS.
Expert-level knowledge of WebGL and Three.JS.
Expert-level understanding of JavaScript and Typescript.
Strong knowledge of performance testing in modern browsers.
Familiarity with the JS ecosystem (NPM, Node JS, Jamstack).
Experience with Git workflows.
Proficiency in cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage shifting priorities.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic knowledge of image and design editing tools (e.g., Figma).
Self-motivated and proactive.
