Job description Flooid is looking for a Front End Software Engineer to build and maintain customer-facing applications for large retailers, focusing on mobility, high-volume systems, and big data challenges. The role involves translating business needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop applications using JavaScript, Angular, and related tools.
- Work within Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban).
- Participate in daily stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality.
- Support the development of new solutions, integrations, and legacy enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Research and assess technical solutions.
- Validate software quality using KPIs and metrics.
- Support estimation and conduct code reviews.
Requirements
- Passion for writing high-quality software.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and modern tooling.
- Familiarity with Angular, NX, NPM.
- Experience with front-end design and client-side applications.
- Expertise in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices.
- Track record of launching successful products.
- Experience in retail or hospitality is a plus.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
