Job description Save My Exams, a rapidly growing EdTech startup, is looking for a Lead Engineer to join their Acquisition Squad and drive organic user growth. They are a customer-obsessed, remote-first company with over 4 million monthly users. The role involves shipping features, managing engineers, and contributing to the technical architecture.

Responsibilities

Ship and own impactful features and experiments to drive organic traffic, SEO, and user growth.
Manage and mentor at least one engineer.
Collaborate with engineering leads to define technical architecture and strategy.
Improve the existing codebase and maintain best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve problems.
Participate in code reviews.
Write and maintain tests.

Requirements

Strong experience developing and operating web applications with frontend and backend technologies.
Experience managing people.
Excellent communication skills.
User-centric approach and ownership of product and code.
Understanding of non-functional requirements (accessibility, performance, testing, security).
Experience with Git and GitHub.
