Job description Wrisk is a digital insurance company focused on simplicity and transparency, serving brands in the automotive sector and expanding to new markets. They are looking for a Software Developer to help scale their insurance platform.

Responsibilities

Lead development of core platform services and REST interfaces in Kotlin.
Integrate front-end applications with backend APIs using TypeScript and React.js.
Evolve and maintain operational data sources (PostgreSQL).
Integrate data services from 3rd parties.
Lead development of AWS Lambdas in TypeScript.
Evolve and automate AWS infrastructure provisioning.

Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or a quantitative field.
6+ years of experience in Java/Kotlin, TypeScript, and React.js.
Strong SQL skills and experience with Postgres.
Comfortable with microservices and message-oriented architectures.
Experience with Agile best practices (testing, CI, iterative development).
DevOps experience with cloud infrastructure (Terraform).
Ability to define, shape, and drive technical projects.
Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluency in English and German.
