Backend Developer (.NET)

Job description Backend Developer to join a growing engineering team, working on a mission-critical system hosted on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using .NET Framework 4.7 and ASP.NET MVC 5.
• Work with Azure services including App Services, WebJobs, SQL Database, Redis Cache, Application Insights, and Storage.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
• Design and optimize RESTful APIs.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and monitoring of production systems.
• Collaborate in an agile development environment (Scrum/Kanban).

Requirements

• 4-6 years of commercial backend development experience in .NET environments.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud applications.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Experience with SQL databases and caching layers (Azure Redis).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins).
• Proficient in unit testing and debugging.
• Excellent communication skills in English (C1+).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
