Job description Fullstack Engineer role within the Short Term Credit team at Funding Circle, focused on building and scaling Card products to provide flexible financing solutions for businesses.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team.
Build user experiences for customers (internal & external).
Deliver innovation through software automation for scaling operations.
Utilize Python, React, Kafka, AWS serverless technologies, and Terraform.
Work with serverless and event-driven architectures.
Proactively solve problems and mitigate risks.

Requirements

Experience with Python and Javascript (preferred).
Fundamental programming skills (data structures, algorithms).
Interest in Serverless architectures.
Knowledge of cloud-based Infrastructure (AWS API Gateway, Lambda, Cognito, DynamoDB).
Experience with Terraform.
Openness to learning new technologies.
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of Agile, BDD, TDD, and CI/CD.
Interest/experience in Functional Programming, Distributed Systems, or Event-Driven Architectures (a plus).
